Conversations between Christians and Muslims are often dominated by polemics, misinformation, or shallow dialogue. Monks & Minarets exists as an alternative: a space for historically informed, theologically serious, and charitable engagement that represents both traditions accurately and honestly.
My goal is to educate and engage readers in a respectful and inviting manner, helping individuals from both faiths feel that their beliefs are fairly represented. This is not a platform for debate-for-debate ’s-sake, but for faithful, thoughtful, and informed discussion shaped by conviction, humility, and truth.

Author’s Bio
I am a Husband to Bethany, a Youth Minister in the Anglican Diocese of Fort Worth (St. Vincent’s Cathedral), and a Jr. Research Fellow at the Zwemer Center for Muslim Studies.
I completed my undergraduate studies in Intercultural Studies at Columbia International University, with an emphasis on world religions, and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Muslim–Christian Relations at the Zwemer Center. My studies focus primarily on the history of Muslim–Christian dialogue.
My interests include Islamic mysticism, the comparative philosophy of religion exchanges between Christianity and Islam, and the ways religious beliefs and practices shape identity.
My work is shaped by academic training, lived encounter, and a commitment to faithful Christian scholarship, seeking to illuminate how stories from our religious past continue to reflect and inform contemporary faith.
